Queenie, a 50ft/15.45m narrowboat based at Anderton Marina, Uplands Road, Anderton, Northwich, Cheshire, CW9 6AJ. The boat has a Canaline engine and is a great canal boat to handle. Queenie has a cruiser stern (lot's of room on the back deck). The hull was manufactured by Nick Thorpe, Staffordshire.
The boat has a reverse layout, meaning the kitchen is at the back of the boat. Step off the back deck down into the kitchen where there is a gas cooker and hob, fridge/freezer and good quality utensils for self catering.
Into the lounge area there is a dining table and chairs plus two easy chairs.
The solid fuel stove is situated in the middle of the boat.
The narrowboat's bathroom is modern and relatively spacious. It has a sink and shower and plenty of handy storage areas with places to hang clothes and towels. The toilet is a plumbed in cassette toilet (with 2 cassettes).
The bedroom has a fixed, full sized double bed (135cm wide x 190cm long -bigger than in this photo), under bed storage and a large wardrobe plus doors which open out onto the front deck.
Queenie is spacious, bright, clean and attractive!!
The narrowboat has a solid fuel stove.
There is a TV with a DVD player.
There are 230V electrical sockets and an 1800W inverter which will run most small electrical items.
The hire price includes diesel, gas, bedding and towels, a boat handling lesson and on-call support.
